Difficulty Level According to Seasons

Whichever the season, Dayara Bugyal presents a beautiful canvas for you to enjoy. But season and weather play a crucial role in the success of your trek. Every season has its pros and cons, you can read more about it here

Spring presents you with the canvas of beautiful colors of blooming flowers. With greenery returning in the bugyal you won’t face problems during trekking. If you want to experience a Rhododendron trek and favorable weather then give Dayara a try in Spring.

Autumn is your chance to see brown and golden maple leaves. Aside from beautiful hues of brown, red and golden, this season won’t challenge your trek. Clear weather makes it easy to get a view of the Garhwal Himalayas from Dayara. Keep in mind Autumn season is on the colder side. Keep adequate layers.

Summer can be heartbreaking as wildfires are common in this season. The smoke, dust particles and pollution will make it difficult for you to enjoy the splendid views.

Dayara Bugyal in monsoon is a different story. The rains bring out the green in the forest and colors in the bugyal. But it can be risky as the weather in the mountains can escalate within seconds. Pack quick dry clothes and a poncho. However, Dayara Bugyal is a safer option than Valley of Flowers which most people prefer in monsoon.

Winter takes you to the magical land of all white and pristine. Dayara Bugyal offers you a perfect beginner-friendly snow trek. You get to enjoy vast snow meadows all to yourself without scaling a difficult summit. But it can get tricky because the weather can change quickly in higher altitudes and anything excess is not good. Layers of warm clothes are your best friend during this time of the Dayara Bugyal trek.

Our team will instruct you prior to the trek and guide you accordingly. Proper equipment like hiking boots, spikes, sleeping bags, etc, become important during winter treks. Don’t forget the zeal to trek, which is the most important thing.
