In the event that a trekker wishes to depart before the scheduled dates, they will be responsible for covering expenses related to food, accommodation, and transportation on their own. This policy ensures flexibility while maintaining the overall quality and safety standards of the trekking experience.

2) Cancellation and Refund: Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refund policies are contingent on the notice period before the trip, with specific non-refundable fees applicable. For more details read this page.

3) Insurance Requirement: Himalayan Dreamtreks does not offer travel insurance or impose charges for it. It is the responsibility of the trekker to obtain travel insurance from reputable providers such as ICICI Lombard, Bajaj Allianz, TATA AIG, and others. Ensuring comprehensive coverage is essential for your well-being and peace of mind during the trek.

4) Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to adhere to a respectful and responsible code of conduct during the trek. The areas you visit may have distinct rules, laws, and beliefs. It is imperative to show respect towards the local religion, customs, and traditions.

Any disruptive behavior or violation of local laws may result in expulsion without a refund. We emphasize the importance of cultural sensitivity and responsible behavior to ensure a harmonious and enriching experience for all participants and the communities we engage with.

A Bolero or hatchback will be utilized for groups of 4 trekkers, while groups of 5-7 will be accommodated in vehicles such as Bolero or Tata Sumo. For larger groups exceeding 8 people, a Force Traveller will be employed.

If a group prefers to use a different vehicle instead of our hired transport, they have the option to arrange their own transportation at their own expense.

During trekking, it’s important to observe small practices that contribute to sustainability. Always carry a steel or copper water bottle to avoid purchasing plastic bottles during the journey. Additionally, bring a tiffin box as we provide packed lunches on some treks. You’ll also receive an eco bag during the trek; use it to collect any plastic waste or wrappers, and please return it to the basecamp at the end of the trek. Your cooperation in maintaining cleanliness and reducing plastic usage is greatly appreciated.
