Since 2019, we have conducted treks, passes, and expeditions across the Indian Himalayas with a zero fatality record. When you trek with HDT, you trek safely.

With 28% of our trekkers being women each year, our treks and expeditions are thoughtfully designed to be safe, supportive, and truly female friendly.

A part of our profits is invested through the HDT Foundation in donation drives, clean-up campaigns, education, and community development initiatives each year.

Responsible Travel

At HDT, we are committed to leaving the mountains better than we found them. Our trekkers are educated on Leave No Trace principles, and our campsites are equipped with separate bins for organic and non-organic waste.

Through partnerships with NGOs like Waste Warriors, local bodies, and our own efforts via the HDT Foundation, we ensure responsible trekking practices. Each season we organise multiple clean-up campaigns to protect Himalayan trails and ecosystems.
