EXCELLENTVerified An Unforgettable Kedarkantha Experience with Himalayan Dream Treks I did a 4 night, 5 day Kedarkantha trek with Himalayan Dream Treks, and the experience was genuinely amazing.My guides were Aman and Sumit, and both of them were incredibly supportive and cooperative. I trekked with Sumit on the first day, and the rest of the trek was led by Aman. Aman was outstanding throughout the journey—calm, motivating, and always looking out for everyone in the group.The food was surprisingly good for a high-altitude trek, and the entire HDT team was very friendly and approachable. They made sure everyone was comfortable and safe at all times.Overall, it was a fabulous experience, and I’d definitely recommend Himalayan Dream Treks to anyone planning a Himalayan trek.Posted onVerified Gulabi Kantha trek Dec 2025 I did Gulabi Kantha trek with HDT, this is my 2nd trek with HDT and the feedback given to HDT team after 1st trek is fully considered….team is so good and experienced that I haven’t faced a single issue and the food was great at that height, trek leader is fully aware of do’s and don't s. He is fully cooperative and helpful throughout the trek. I always prefers and recommend to go with HDT team for trekking and experiences. I joined the Panch Kedar Yatra and from the moment the group was picked up everything was planned, organised and every detail taken care of, the whole trip was seamless - all I had to do was walk and enjoy the experience.Good accommodation, great food cooked over a fire and super comfy vehicle for transportation – Sandeep is a great driver, felt completely safe. And guide and driver were very professional, respectful and polite.The scenery and temples on the Yatra are beautiful and it is a beautiful part of the world to visit, Yatra or Trekking.I joined a group I had not walked with before and we had quite mixed abilities and lots of different asks and our wonderful guide Hitik went above and beyond to keep everyone happy and really looked after us, I was blown away by Hitik’s care and kindness, not only helping our group but others on the yatra and looking out for me when I was taken ill for a time. He was so light-hearted and fun it made the walking easy and like having a best friend to walk with. Thank you Hitik, I hope to walk with you again soon, I’m sorry we were so high maintenance!I will be recommending HDT to all my friends and am already looking at their other treks and making plans and won’t hesitate to book with them again.THANK YOUPosted onVerified A Unforgettable Experience with HMT A small group of 4 of us did Panch Kedar with Himalayan Dream Treks and what an amazing experience it was. Our guide, Hitik, was great. His enthusiasm for trekking and love of the mountains and the people up there was infectious. This young man handled everything 4 much older and somewhat overwhelmed Westerners threw at him with a smile on his face.I organised this trek from New Zealand and found the Himalayan Dream Trek team incredibly easy to deal with. They answered all my questions and let me know what was needed from my end in good time. There fee is very reasonable for what they offer and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone considering Panch Kedar or any other treks in the Indian Himalaya. The Panch Kedar trek itself is tough and quite relentless, but extremely rewarding. Be prepared to trek every day, at altitude. There are no easy days until you get to Kalpeshwar, the last of the 5 temples. The trek to each temple has it's own challenges and it's own beauty. Make sure that you have a reasonable level of fitness and good boots for what are some pretty technical treks. A good comfortable day pack is essential. You don't need a big pack as you are only ever away from your transport for 2 nights at a time, so that's all you need to carry, but you do need a good small pack. To have darshan at the 5 temples of Panch Kedar is a wonderful blessing, and to experience the natural beauty of these remote and sacred spots is unforgettable. From the very beginning, the team was well-organized and professional. Our guide Aman deserves special appreciation—he was knowledgeable, calm, and always attentive to everyone in the group. He explained the trail, surroundings, and safety instructions clearly, which made even first-time trekkers feel confident. At 12,500 feet height, everything that was possible for them was done for us, from cooking wonderful meals to cheering everybody to catch the summit. The team is less restrictive compared to other companies operating in a similar region, we completed summit on 31st of December and were partying while the other camps were sleeping. At the top, the thermos bottles were freezing into ice and there were no water streams nearby. Even in these cases, they arranged hot water for drinking. My huge respect goes to two trek guides, Himanshu (24) and Divyanshu (18), who travelled with us, but after reaching the campsite, they arranged camps, kitchen and common hall, which itself is a task, and they were doing it smoothly from every campsite to campsite, attaching and dismantling. The camping equipment and kitchen equipment setting and digging for washrooms is itself a task; they were doing it effortlessly while we were getting breathless just by hiking the climb. I also had a great company of nine other people, including my partner. Everybody was a cartoon character in the group. The experience was dusty and full of energy but no snow was found. The team was on point with everything - right from accomodation to guiding us through the forests and mountain trails. Himanshu and Divyanshu did an amazing job to accomodate our requests, including dancing with us. Food was top notch. Campsite locations were well placed away from the noise. The staff is very cordial and humble, helping you at every step and providing you comfort throughout your journey. Delicious home cooked food will not make you homesick around the rocky Mountains. HDT takes a small group of 10 at a time which enables you to enjoy the trek without feeling left out or lonesome. We personally went to Kuari Pass and had a gala time. HDT team took care of the tents, sleeping bags, and all the amenities required for your smooth trekking experience. Our trekking guides were so supportive, friendly, and humble.
