I really enjoyed the Phulara Ridge trek. The food and their behavior were wonderful. I didn't feel bored for even a single moment. They always kept an eye on the trekkers. At first, they seemed very strict, but as time passed, their friendly side also came out. I give them 10 out of 10.

We recently did the Dayara Bugyal trek (last week only) and frankly our experience was bad. 1) the first night we were kept at GMVN which was really dirty. The beds weren't clean, thr room filthy, the windows were mostly broken, there was no drinking water in the room - which i think shd have been a basic service and above all there was no power right from when we reached late afternoon till the next morning when we started for our trek. There shd have been atleast a solar bulb inside the room. They finally gave us a tiny lamp. It was so frustrating to pack. After a long day of travel from Doon to Raithal, we could not even have a bath since the geyser wasnt working due to lack of power. And the worse part, India Hikes camp was fully lighted. When we pointed this out, we were told instead IH keeps people in dorms! 2) When we finally reached Gui the next day, we realised HDT had a tie up with one of the huts. Considering the open pit toilet was next to the hut we dud not want to stay in the tent which was at a height and at night it would have been inconvenient for me. While the local hut man was nice, the room was OK ok but am willing to overlook that considering we were on a trek even though basic hygiene shd have been in place. We did see India Hikes or the Himalayan Hikers were far more professionally managed. 3) there wasn't a proper place to even sit and have food and most of the days my husband and I would wait for the other 6 boys to finish and then we would eat. 4) While Veeru the guide was supportive and encouraging, he never gave any description of the flora or fauna or the topography which I feel he should have. Any guided trek is after all is an experience where you get to learn and educate yourself too. 5) On our way back, by the time we reached GMVN after a long downhill trek, lunch should have been provided instead we were told we could have lunch at Maneri enroute to Dehradun. 6) Worse was Veeru got down at Maneri and the driver was all alone without any helper with 8 of us and imagine he was driving through the hills at night. Anything could have happened. This is HIGHLY risky. Frankly HDT you can do so much better. This was not the experience we expected. Yes Veeru, the local hutman were all warm but the entire arrangement was shoddy. What made us forget the shortcomings there was ofcourse the beauty of the place. That was breathtaking. Would I do this again? Yes. But NOT with HDT certainly. There was a stark difference with IH and Himalayan Hikers. Even the bus that IH guys were using was much better.

An Unforgettable Hampta Pass Trek Experience 🏔️❤️ Hampta Pass was truly one of the most memorable trips I’ve ever had! I would especially like to thank Sobi and Nitish for supporting, encouraging, and motivating us at every step throughout the journey. Your constant encouragement made a huge difference and helped us push beyond our limits. Our trek began at Day 1 Chika, which was relatively easy to navigate. The soothing sound of flowing streams, lush greenery, and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect start to our adventure. As we continued towards Balu Ka Ghera Day 2, the terrain became steeper, and our pace gradually slowed. However, our trek guides were absolutely remarkable. Their constant reassurance and confidence in us kept us going, and eventually, we crossed the challenging stretches and reached our campsite! A big thank-you to the kitchen helpers and everyone working behind the scenes. Your support ensured that we had comfortable nights, delicious meals, and the energy we needed for each day of the trek. Day 3 was our Hampta Pass summit day, and we expected it to be exhausting and challenging. However, the confidence and positive energy within our group made the experience truly incredible. Reaching Hampta Pass was an achievement in itself, but enjoying pasta at the summit was something I could never have imagined! 😂🍝 It was such a crazy and unforgettable moment. We then descended to Shea Goru, where we celebrated our achievement, played games, shared stories, and enjoyed some wonderful conversations. The happiness of having crossed Hampta Pass made every moment even more special. The next day, we headed towards Chhatru at Day 4, followed by a visit to the breathtaking Chandratal Lake. Crossing the water stream along the way was probably the toughest part of the entire trek! Despite the challenges, we kept moving forward. When we finally reached Chhatru and saw the road, the feeling was simply, “Finally, we made it!” 😄 Our journey to Chandratal was another adventure in itself, with rough and challenging roads that required extra caution. But reaching the sacred lake, shining at approximately 14,000 feet, made everything worthwhile. The little snowfall when we arrived was the cherry on top! ❄️ The beauty, the silence, and the peaceful feeling of simply sitting beside the lake were beyond words. It was one of those moments when you just want to pause, take everything in, and appreciate nature. After returning to Chhatru, we celebrated our achievement with a gala dinner that was absolutely delicious! A huge salute to the kitchen team and all the helpers once again. We sang songs, laughed, reminisced about our journey, and shared stories about the incredible experiences we had along the way. The following morning was an emotional one, as it was time to leave the mountains and return to our everyday lives. We captured beautiful pictures, enjoyed our final moments together, and made memories with some truly lovely people. Saying goodbye to the mountains was not easy, but we left with full hearts, unforgettable memories, and a sense of accomplishment. ❤️ A heartfelt thank-you to Sobi, Nitish, all the trek guides, kitchen helpers, and the entire support team for making this journey so safe, enjoyable, and memorable. Your dedication and encouragement made this experience even more special. We came as trekkers, conquered our fears, celebrated our achievements, and left with beautiful memories and new friendships. Signing off for now, mountains… but definitely not forever. We’ll be back! 🏔️❤️😁

We were 2 female travellers from Sri Lanka and recently did a 3 night Madhmaheshwar trek with Himalayan Dream Treks. It was our first time doing anything like this and from the planning stage, (with our numerous questions), assuring us we could do it, informing us of packing lists and rental gear available and organizing transport as we needed to and from the locations - everything was so professionally and smoothly executed. Accommodation and food was also beyond our expectations. Our guide was experienced, patient, fun and made sure we had the most beautiful and safe mountain experience. We look forward to explore more of this inexplicably beautiful terrain with Himalayan dream treks. Definitely hooked and will be back soon! So so grateful to Soby and his team from Himalayan dream treks who really did make our dreams possible.

Loved our Hampta Pass trek with Himalayan Dream Treks! Sobi Negi and Nishant were super friendly and helpful throughout, always keeping the group safe and in good spirits. The hot, freshly cooked food at every campsite was a pleasant surprise and exactly what we needed after long days of walking. Great trek, great team. Would definitely go again!

We had an absolutely FABULOUS trip with Himalayan Dream Treks! What an incredible, beautiful, challenging, and truly memorable experience it has been. ❤️ Our Panch Kedar Yatra was a dream come true, and completing this incredible journey across all five Kedar temples has left us with memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. Out of the four of us, two were relatively new to trekking, and this was our very first trekking experience. Taking on a challenging journey like Panch Kedar as our first trek was certainly ambitious, but we successfully completed it, and a huge part of the credit goes to Himalayan Dream Treks for organising the trip so well and, most importantly, for giving us the BEST guide we could have asked for — Mr. Sandeep Rana! A special and heartfelt appreciation for Sandeep Rana! 🌟 I would like to start with his smile! 😊 It is so refreshing, reassuring, and infectious that it instantly makes you feel happy, calm, and confident, no matter how challenging the trail ahead might be. Trekking involves moments of exhaustion, steep ascents, difficult descents, breathlessness, and uncertainty, especially for first-timers. But every time we saw Sandeep on the trail, we felt reassured, motivated, and ready to keep going. What makes Sandeep truly exceptional is the way he takes care of every single person in the group. His attention to detail is remarkable. He constantly ensured that we were comfortable with everything — food, accommodation, health, luggage, breathing, trekking pace, medication, and any difficulties we faced along the way. He patiently guided us on how to trek properly, how to approach steep ascents and descents, what to carry in our backpacks, what to avoid carrying, how to manage our energy, and how to handle the challenges of trekking at high altitudes. He shared his knowledge and experiences generously, helped us understand the mountains better, and made sure we were well prepared for what lay ahead. What touched us the most was how personally involved he was with each of us. He took the time to understand our individual abilities, comfort levels, and limitations, adjusted the pace accordingly, and regularly checked on everyone to make sure we were doing well. Nobody felt rushed or left behind. Whether it was a physical challenge, a health concern, or simply a moment when we needed encouragement, he was always there. And he did all of this with that wonderful smile on his face! His calm, patient, friendly, and reassuring nature made a world of difference. He was not just guiding us through the trails; he was helping us believe that we could do it. The way he planned our treks and chose the timings helped us make the most of the experience and enjoy some truly memorable moments at different places. His guidance gave us the confidence to push our limits while still being mindful of our health and safety. A big thank you to Himalayan Dream Treks! 🙏 We are equally grateful to Himalayan Dream Treks for customising the itinerary to suit our requirements and organising such a wonderful journey. The planning, coordination, and accommodation arrangements made a significant difference to our overall experience. Taking on Panch Kedar is no small undertaking, particularly for people who are new to trekking. Having an organiser who understands your requirements and a guide who genuinely cares about your well-being makes all the difference. We sincerely wish you continued success, happiness, good health, prosperity, and many more wonderful journeys ahead. May you continue to inspire many more trekkers to discover the beauty of the Himalayas and experience the mountains with the same confidence and joy that you brought to our journey. Thank you, Himalayan Dream Treks, for making this dream journey a reality, and thank you, Sandeep, for being such a big part of our story! **Himalayan Dream Treks: 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** **Mr. Sandeep Rana: 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** Highly recommended, with all our heart! 🙌

I recently completed the two-week Panch Kedar Yatra with Himalayan Dream Treks and honestly, it was an experience I’ll cherish for a lifetime. The Panch Kedar Yatra is much more than just a trek. It’s a journey that tests your physical strength, challenges your mind, and brings you closer to nature and spirituality with every step. Through the beautiful mountains, long trails, tired legs, and moments of silence, there’s a sense of peace that’s difficult to put into words. And having the right people by your side makes all the difference. From the very beginning, Himalayan Dream Treks made sure the itinerary was customised to our needs rather than simply following a fixed package. Whenever we had to make decisions about routes, stops, or timings, everything was explained clearly, including the pros and cons. That transparency gave us confidence and made the entire experience smooth and well organised. **A special mention to Sandeep Rana, who truly made this journey even more memorable.** Over two weeks in the mountains, Sandeep proved to be much more than just a guide. He was extremely helpful, patient, professional, and genuinely caring towards everyone in the group. He always kept an eye on how we were doing, noticed when someone was getting tired, and knew when to encourage us and when to let us take our time. No one felt rushed or left behind. What I appreciated most was his calm nature and willingness to help, no matter the situation. He explained the terrain, what lay ahead on the trail, and the little details that made each place more meaningful. His knowledge and experience gave us confidence, especially during the more challenging stretches. You could tell that he genuinely cared about the people trekking with him, and that makes a world of difference on a journey like this. There were moments when the climbs felt endless and the body was completely exhausted, but reaching these sacred places reminded us why we had started in the first place. The mountains teach you patience, the journey teaches you humility, and a spiritual journey like Panch Kedar reminds you that sometimes the most meaningful experiences come from simply putting one foot in front of the other, with faith in your heart. A heartfelt thank you to Sandeep Rana and the entire Himalayan Dream Treks team for making these two weeks so special. I came for the Panch Kedar Yatra, but I’m returning with beautiful memories, a deeper appreciation for the mountains, and an experience that will stay with me for years to come. If you’re planning the Panch Kedar Yatra or any Himalayan trek, I would happily recommend Himalayan Dream Treks. And if you get the opportunity, do ask for Sandeep Rana as your guide. You’ll be in good hands.

Tough but worth it Coming into this as a complete beginner, I won't sugarcoat it: this trek was genuinely hard. The terrain is rocky, uneven, and steep in stretches, and there were moments I wasn't sure I'd make it. What got me through was the guide and the rest of the group, who were patient and encouraging without making a fuss about it. My honest advice is to get yourself reasonably fit before attempting this one. That said, I'm glad I did it. The base camp is in a lovely spot, and the staff there are warm and welcoming. The facilities are well-kept, so no worries on that front. One thing to be prepared for: it gets cold up there, and if it rains, the temperature drops noticeably. Pack a decent jacket or a few layers. You'll thank yourself.

Awesome experience for har ki dun trek!! I have been to 6 treks private as well as with other companies. But with no doubt I can say I had the best trek so far. The arrangements were top notch. The human touch they give I undoubtedly the best in market. Our trek staff himanshu, anand, manoj the cook and virendra is the best in business. We played, we did extra adventures and the food also was very tasty. I would recommend everyone to just try Himalayan dream trek once and I bet u would not be disappointed

Wonderful experience all around…! As a solo female inexperienced trekker, I was slightly nervous and weary of booking the trek. My worries were all dissolved when I spoke to Sobhi and decided to go for the Naag Tibba Trek. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side but the experience was unforgettable!! Everything from the start to finish went smoothly, from pic up to drop off. The team made wonderful food at the base camp (how do they do it so well??), tent was comfortable and surprisingly the base camp had a western style toilet facilities. A huge kudos to Sobhi. He is one of a kind. As I was a solo traveller I got to chat to Sobhi a lot. His life experience and his mountaineering experience is something else. I got to understand why HDT is a huge success; it’s because of Sobhi and I am sure his team members are of same caliber adding to the success of HDT. Sobhi’s deep understanding of nature and mountain life he nurtured over his life time is exceptional. His professionalism, his character and his wit and charisma will for sure make your Trek truly unforgettable. I recommend the team whole heartedly and hope that I can come back once again…. !! Thank you HDT

An Unforgettable Kedarkantha Experience with Himalayan Dream Treks I did a 4 night, 5 day Kedarkantha trek with Himalayan Dream Treks, and the experience was genuinely amazing. My guides were Aman and Sumit, and both of them were incredibly supportive and cooperative. I trekked with Sumit on the first day, and the rest of the trek was led by Aman. Aman was outstanding throughout the journey—calm, motivating, and always looking out for everyone in the group. The food was surprisingly good for a high-altitude trek, and the entire HDT team was very friendly and approachable. They made sure everyone was comfortable and safe at all times. Overall, it was a fabulous experience, and I’d definitely recommend Himalayan Dream Treks to anyone planning a Himalayan trek.

Panch Kedar Yatra Thank you so much Himalayan Dream Trek. I joined the Panch Kedar Yatra and from the moment the group was picked up everything was planned, organised and every detail taken care of, the whole trip was seamless - all I had to do was walk and enjoy the experience. Good accommodation, great food cooked over a fire and super comfy vehicle for transportation – Sandeep is a great driver, felt completely safe. And guide and driver were very professional, respectful and polite. The scenery and temples on the Yatra are beautiful and it is a beautiful part of the world to visit, Yatra or Trekking. I joined a group I had not walked with before and we had quite mixed abilities and lots of different asks and our wonderful guide Hitik went above and beyond to keep everyone happy and really looked after us, I was blown away by Hitik’s care and kindness, not only helping our group but others on the yatra and looking out for me when I was taken ill for a time. He was so light-hearted and fun it made the walking easy and like having a best friend to walk with. Thank you Hitik, I hope to walk with you again soon, I’m sorry we were so high maintenance! I will be recommending HDT to all my friends and am already looking at their other treks and making plans and won’t hesitate to book with them again. THANK YOU

A Unforgettable Experience with HMT A small group of 4 of us did Panch Kedar with Himalayan Dream Treks and what an amazing experience it was. Our guide, Hitik, was great. His enthusiasm for trekking and love of the mountains and the people up there was infectious. This young man handled everything 4 much older and somewhat overwhelmed Westerners threw at him with a smile on his face. I organised this trek from New Zealand and found the Himalayan Dream Trek team incredibly easy to deal with. They answered all my questions and let me know what was needed from my end in good time. There fee is very reasonable for what they offer and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone considering Panch Kedar or any other treks in the Indian Himalaya. The Panch Kedar trek itself is tough and quite relentless, but extremely rewarding. Be prepared to trek every day, at altitude. There are no easy days until you get to Kalpeshwar, the last of the 5 temples. The trek to each temple has it's own challenges and it's own beauty. Make sure that you have a reasonable level of fitness and good boots for what are some pretty technical treks. A good comfortable day pack is essential. You don't need a big pack as you are only ever away from your transport for 2 nights at a time, so that's all you need to carry, but you do need a good small pack. To have darshan at the 5 temples of Panch Kedar is a wonderful blessing, and to experience the natural beauty of these remote and sacred spots is unforgettable. If you're thinking of doing it then contact Sobi and the Himalayan Dream Trek team now.
