Soby Sir' Fan Base | Best Quality Services | Outstanding beauty of Gaumukh Tapovan Trek
It was really a nice experience to trek with Himalayan Dream Treks. The beautiful views of Gaumukh, Gangotri Glacier, and the high-altitude meadows of Tapovan on the foothills of Mt. Shivling and Mt. Bhagirathi—every attraction made my trip memorable. Special thanks to Soby sir, high-altitude mountain guide and Co-Founder of the company. The gratitude he has is truly notable. Everything was well-organized, whether it was about providing exceptional service or the behavior of the staff—everything was best in class. Services included top-quality equipment, healthy and nutritious food, comfortable and cozy camp stays, and homestays in Gangotri town. And, of course, Soby sir, a knowledgeable trek leader, was excellent. Soby sir's team is well-organized and well-trained to handle any unmanageable situations in the Himalayas, which is why they are one of the best tour operators among expeditioners and adventurers like us who want to experience the rugged and raw beauty of the Himalayas. Nelong Valley Permit
Came from West Bengal to visit Harsil and Nelong. Getting permit is time consuming task but Himalayan Dream Treks saved our time and made our Nelong permit. Thanks Bhuvi and HDT.

Himalayan Dream Trek-Lives upto it's Name
At the beginning I choose Himalayan dream trek because it was matching my slot timings. I contacted Shobendra bhaiya from the company and he asked me to pay online but I was hesitant, still he paid for my permit by himself without even asking for advance from me. That was a great gesture from his side. Now from the Beginning of the first day from Dehradun till back,for 4 days,we were provided everything which was best from their ability. We were provided a professional guide and good food throughout the journey. It was an amazing experience with the company. I'll choose Himalayan dream trek over and over again above anything else!!

Bad management, no English, trip was shortened 1 day: no refund. Hike was beautiful so book with local.
Writing this on behalf of all the 6 individuals who booked the Gomukh-Tapovan trek (19-24 October 2024) to express our dissatisfaction with the following :1. The trek was supposed to be a 5 day trek however on the first day of the trek, at Chirbasa campsite to be precise, we were informed that camping at Tapovan will not be possible because of scarcity of water. This is clearly concealment of facts and should have been informed well in advance so that we would have cancelled the trek altogether. It is an utter waste of time for us and a failure to deliver services as promised at your end. We had to rebook our train/plane/stays as we arrived one day earlier in Dehradun after the trek and did not get a refund for the last day we did not hike.2. Unprofessional Management: The whole trek experience was managed with utter unprofessionalism. The transportation from Dehradun was pathetically slow and uncomfortable; a simple 10 hour long journey at most took about 14 hours to complete. Further, campsite at Chirbasa on day 1 was not setup even hours after reaching it, leaving all us in the cold, evidently highlighting the uncoordinated nature of the trek. Not to mention the difficulties encountered before starting our trek from Bhojbasa to Tapovan which may be elaborated by other group members.3. The guide barely spoke any English and when he did it was often very rude. We were lucky our fellow group members would translate for us or we wouldn't even have known that sleeping at tapovan wasn't possible.4. During trekking, the guide was often so far ahead or behind, it seemed we were just hiking on our own. 5 members descended alone from tapovan to gaumukh and further on the 6 of us walked without him to bhojbasa. That's a whole afternoon without the guide (if you could still call him that), if something had happened then, there was no possibility of us contacting anyone, that's totally irresponsible and unprofessional. It was like he had no experience at all and we had to explain to him how he should lead a group.5. The circumstances in which the porters had to operate was dehumanizing. A shortage of porters led to carrying an overload without decent shoes, clothing and backpacks.Would definitely not recommend this organization to anyone.

Don't book with this unprofessional organization
Bad management, trek was cut a whole day short, they didn't provide any reimbursement for the extra costs we had to make. When we addressed this they acted very childish and unprofessional.The guide was very poor, didn't speak any English (we were lucky our fellow group members would translate for us), he couldn't give any explanations and his leadership skills were abysmal.They had too little porters so they were unnecessarily strained.The food was good though and the hike was very beautiful (Gaumukh Tapovan), just book a local guide.

Harsil Valley Trip - Adventurous yet Peaceful
Visiting the mountains is always a heavenly experience, and our trip to Harsil Valley in mid-October 2024 was no different. Along with 15 other women, I embarked on this journey, organized by AKS Group (Indore) and Himalayan Dream Treks, with a smooth round trip from Dehradun to Dehradun. It was my first proper trekking experience—challenging but deeply refreshing. The organization was seamless, thanks to our guide Mr. Sobi Negi, who ensured everything from our homestays to daily meals was well taken care of. A special thanks to our driver, Mr. Mani, for safely navigating the mountain roads, allowing us to relax and take in the scenic beauty. The stunning landscapes and the memories I made with the group are truly unforgettable.On October 15th, we visited Khedi Dam and Gangotri Dham before tackling the Gartang Gali Trek—a 5 km round trek that most of us finished in about 2.5 hours. Standing at an altitude of 11,000 feet, the fresh mountain air, the sound of the river below, and the panoramic views gave us a sense of calm and wonder.The following day, on October 16th, we visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and completed the Lama Top Trek, a 3 km round trek that a few of us finished in about 3 hours. At 9,000 feet, the peaceful scenery around us offered a quiet respite, with the mountains standing tall in every direction.The sense of peace I felt during both treks reminded me that there’s more to life than just the daily routine and waiting to die. It’s moments like these, in the heart of nature, that bring a true sense of balance and clarity. I’m thankful to the entire team for making this experience so smooth and fulfilling.

Excellent and Memorable trip organised by Himalayan Dream Treks
Thanks to Sobi Negi and Bipin Negi, we had a wonderful trip to Panch Kedar, Badrinath and Panch Badri. The itinerary was meticulously planned, and the hotels were excellent. The quality of food where we stayed was hygienic and tasty considering we had a 10-day trip.They are very accommodative and flexible.Sobi was always there to solve any issues and proactive. Bipin was calm, punctual and took us to all the temples without missing even a single temple.I will surely plan my future trips with them and strongly recommend Himalayan Dream Treks service to anybody.

So we had set the seal on top of "Tapovan-Camp", completing "Goumukh-Tapovan Trek" last month with this fabulous organisation "HIMALAYAN DREAM TREKS" . This was my first trek along with my brothers. Thanks to our guide "Mr. VIRU RANA" a very jovial guy, for escorting us on every step. This trek of ours, was one of its kind with extremely hypnotic trails and landscapes, our guide made this expedition even more finer with his expertise of the valleys and his ability to keep things lively, coupled with the fact that his team was very heartful and goes every extra mile possible, to keep you comfortable at all times. The food was outstanding and the service, Top-Notch...!!!🫶🏔

A group of friends and I decided to embark on a trekking adventure in Dayara Bugyal, and I must say it turned out to be one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life. From the breathtaking landscapes to the camaraderie among our group, every moment was filled with joy and excitement.
Himalayan Dream Treks (HDT) make us very comfortable. Particularly guidence of Priyanshu and Shivam was very nice. I must convey my special thanks to the catering team as the food was so excellent.... preparing in such a high altitude.

I did trekking for the first time. At first I thought it would be very difficult but it was a great experience trekking with Himalayan Dream Trek. Especially our trek leader Viru Rana was very helpful throughout the journey. And the porter was very helpful while going to Tapoban. All in all I am really happy to trek with Himalayan Dream Trek.
