Cancellation POLICY & Refund
At Himalayan Dream Treks, we know that life happens. Sometimes, unexpected events can derail your travel plans. That’s why we have a flexible cancellation policy, so you can book your trek with confidence. We have established the following cancellation policy to address such situations:
Refund Structure:
- Cancellation Over 30 Days Prior to Departure: Refund of 90% of the total Land Package Cost will be provided.
- Cancellation Between 21-30 Days Prior to Departure: Refund of 75% of the total Land Package Cost will be applicable.
- Cancellation Between 11-20 Days Prior to Departure: Refund of 50% of the total Land Package Cost will be provided.
- Cancellation Less Than 10 Days Prior to Departure: Unfortunately, for cancellations made less than 10 days before the scheduled departure date, no refund will be provided.
- No-show: In the event of a no-show (failure to join the trek without prior cancellation notification), no refund will be applicable.
Procedure for Cancellations:
- To initiate a cancellation and claim a refund as per the policy, customers are required to inform Himalayan Dream Treks promptly.
- Cancellation requests should be communicated in writing via email or through our official communication channels.
- The refund, as per the cancellation policy, will be processed within 30 days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
Exceptions:
Please note that exceptions to the cancellation policy may be made in cases of unavoidable circumstances such as adverse weather conditions or natural disasters. Himalayan Dream Treks will assess such cases on an individual basis and consider potential adjustments or refunds at its discretion.
We understand that sometimes, things happen beyond your control. If you have to cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a medical emergency or a family crisis, we’ll do our best to work with you and find a solution.
Additional Information:
- The refund will be processed in the same currency and via the same payment method used for the original transaction.
- Any applicable processing fees, transaction charges, or non-refundable expenses incurred by Himalayan Dream Treks will be deducted from the refunded amount.
