Payment Policy

This page outlines the payment policy for Himalayan Dreamtreks. By booking a trek with us, you agree to abide by the terms of this policy.

We highly recommend booking your treks in advance to secure your slot, especially during peak seasons. Early planning ensures a smoother experience and allows us to arrange logistics, permits, accommodation, and other essentials more efficiently.

If you’re not ready to pay the full amount at the time of booking, partial payment is also available.

We require an advance payment to cover the costs of booking your trek, including permits, transportation, and accommodation. We also need to secure the services of our experienced guides and porters.

Initial Booking Amount for Treks

An initial booking amount is required to secure your reservation. The amount of the initial booking varies depending on the type of trek you have booked. Please see the table below for details:

Note: Trek vouchers (as per our cancellation policy) will only be issued if the full payment has been made. 30% advance payments are non-refundable and not eligible for vouchers.

For Nepal Treks & International Clients

  • Booking Confirmation: A minimum of 40% of the trek fee is required to confirm your booking.
  • Balance: The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to the trek start date.

For Expeditions & High Passes

  • Booking Confirmation: A minimum of 50% of the expedition fee must be paid to reserve your slot.
  • Balance: The remaining 50% must be paid at least 45 days before the expedition start date.
  • Delayed payments may result in the automatic cancellation of your booking.

Transaction Charges Based on Payment Method

Please note that additional transaction charges may apply depending on your selected payment gateway:

  • Razorpay: A transaction fee of 1% to 4% will be applicable, depending on the payment method you choose (UPI, card, wallet, net banking, etc.).
  • PayPal: A flat 5% transaction fee will be applicable for all payments made via PayPal.

Instructions

To book a trek with Himalayan Dream Treks, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit our website and select the trek you would like to book.
  2. Click the Book Now button and fill in the details.
  3. Complete the payment by choosing any of the payment options
  4. Once you have made the payment, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details.

You will receive an email confirmation of your booking shortly after you have paid the initial booking amount.
